Reito Tsutsumi Defeats Leobardo Quintana by Stoppage

On December 27, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as part of "The Ring V: Night of the Samurai," a super bantamweight bout (up to 55.3 kg) took place between 23-year-old Japanese prospect Reito Tsutsumi (4-0, 3 KOs) and 23-year-old Mexican Leobardo Quintana Sanchez (12-2, 5 KOs).

The encounter ended early in the 4th round. Tsutsumi landed a heavy barrage of punches, after which the Mexican barely managed to stand up by the end of the referee's count—prompting the official to wave off the fight. Result: TKO 4.

For Tsutsumi, this marks his fourth fight of 2025 and the first 8-round bout of his career. He ended his two previous appearances this year with early stoppages in the 1st and 2nd rounds. Quintana was stepping into the ring for the fifth time this year, entering the bout with a 2025 record of three wins and one loss.
