Pacquiao Preparing for December Fight with Lomachenko

46-year-old former eight-division champion Manny Pacquiao told Daily Tribune he is preparing for an exhibition boutagainst Ukrainian legend Vasyl Lomachenko.

The event is slated for December in the United States. Lomachenko was previously named among the candidates for a Pacquiao comeback fight.

Pacquiao also mentioned he plans a “big fight” early in 2026, possibly in January or February.

His official representative Sean Gibbons confirmed that a major fight is indeed being lined up for early 2026.

In July 2025, Manny Pacquiao (62-8-3, 39 KOs) made his return to the ring after a four-year hiatus, fighting Mario Barrios to a draw.

In May 2024, Vasyl Lomachenko (18-3, 12 KOs) defeated George Kambosos by 11th-round TKO to win the IBF lightweight title. In 2025, Lomachenko announced his retirement.
