WBC Super Featherweight champion O'Shaquie Foster has declared his readiness to travel to Europe for a unification bout against James Dickens, who holds the WBA world title in the same weight class.
“Let's make it happen and I’ll come to Europe,” Foster wrote.
The Briton replied:
“Let's talk,” Dickens wrote, adding a telephone handset emoji.
James’s next fight was scheduled for December 27 in Riyadh against Hayato Tsutsumi. However, the Japanese fighter withdrew from the bout due to a cut sustained during training. Following the injury to his opponent and the cancellation of the Riyadh date, Dickens was officially elevated to full WBA world champion status.
