Oleksandr Usyk to Joshua: “Stay strong, champ”

Holder of the WBA, WBC, IBF and IBO heavyweight titles Oleksandr Usyk has reacted to the news of the car accident involving former world champion Anthony Joshua and his close friends.

“This is an incredible loss. Sina and Latz were two incredible people who were not only part of AJ’s team, but also his friends.

My sincere condolences to their families, loved ones and everyone who knew them. Anthony, I wish you a speedy recovery. Stay strong, champ,” Usyk wrote.

Recall that on 29 December Anthony Joshua (29-4, 26 KOs) was involved in a car accident in Nigeria in which the British fighter’s trainers were killed and Joshua himself was hospitalized. All currently known details of the incident can be found via the link.
