Ukrainian unified heavyweight world champion Oleksandr Usyk (WBA, WBC, WBO, IBO) shared his thoughts on a potential political career.
“No, I’m not interested in politics because I don’t understand what’s going on there. Boxing makes sense to me — two guys, gentlemen, who enjoy fighting. But politics, in my opinion, is like skiing. I don’t like politics. I don’t want to get involved in it,” said Usyk.
On July 19, Usyk is scheduled to face Daniel Dubois in a fight for the undisputed heavyweight championship.
