Mayweather and Pacquiao in talks for a rematch – insider report

Former world champions Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao are in negotiations for a potential rematch, according to The Ring insider Mike Coppinger.

The fight between the 48-year-old American and the 46-year-old Filipino is reportedly being considered as another major boxing event for Netflix in 2026.

Floyd Mayweather (50-0, 27 KOs) and Manny Pacquiao (62-8-3, 39 KOs) first met in May 2015, with Floyd winning by unanimous decision in what was then billed as the “Fight of the Century.”

Mayweather’s last official bout took place in August 2017, when he stopped Conor McGregor via 10th-round TKO.

In July, Pacquiao returned from a four-year layoff, fighting WBC welterweight champion Mario Barrios to a draw.
