Mayweather–Pacquiao 2 Could Take Place at the Sphere in Las Vegas

According to insider Mike Coppinger, the rematch between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao may take place in Las Vegas, USA, at the Sphere — one of the most high-tech arenas in the world.

So far, the Sphere has hosted only one combat sports event — UFC 306, where Merab Dvalishvili defeated Sean O’Malley in the main event.

Earlier reports indicated that the rematch is expected to happen in the spring, and that the fight will have official professional status, not an exhibition format.
