
On the night of November 23 at ANB Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, a bout for the vacant WBO lightweight world title (61.2 kg) took place between 21-year-old American Abdullah Mason (20-0, 17 KOs) and 28-year-old Briton Sam Noakes (17-1, 15 KOs).
The fight went the full 12 rounds and ended with a unanimous decision victory for Mason.
