Keyshawn Plans His Return, Wants to Fight on the Teofimo–Shakur Card

Keyshawn Davis / British Boxing News

Former WBO Lightweight world champion Keyshawn Davis is planning his return to the ring. Davis (13-0, 9 KOs) last fought in the winter of 2025, when he knocked out Denys Berinchyk. After that, a scheduled bout with Edwin De Los Santos fell through — Keyshawn failed to make weight.

“In a perfect world, I would return on January 31 on Shakur’s card in New York, where I would face Nahir Albright,” Davis wrote.

After missing weight, Keyshawn announced that he was moving up to a new weight division and leaving his WBO belt vacant. Davis has already faced Albright once — he won by majority decision but failed a marijuana doping test. The bout was ruled a no-contest.
