Jaron Ennis Names Desired Opponent for Next Fight

WBA Interim Super Welterweight champion Jaron Ennis has revealed that he wants WBA Interim titleholder Virgil Ortiz as his next opponent.

“There’s too much debate, too much talk — I just can’t wait. They’re all going to see. I’m not going to say much.

I see all that little talk they’ve been doing… Let him get through his fight first, and then we’ll see,” said Ennis.

On October 11, Jaron Ennis (35-0, 31 KOs) made a dominant debut in his new division, stopping Whisma Lima via first-round TKO.

Virgil Ortiz (23-0, 21 KOs) is scheduled to face Erickson Lubin on November 8.
