Jake: “I Don’t Take ‘YouTuber’ as an Insult. They Earn More Than Boxers”

Jake Paul / MVP

Jake Paul discussed how he feels about Anthony Joshua calling him a YouTuber. The Briton used the term among his arguments for why he will beat the American on December 19 in Miami, USA.

“I’m not a YouTuber either, damn it. A lot of people try to put that label on you because they have a low IQ.

People try to put people in boxes, and because I don’t fit into any box, they try to keep me in one area or another. I am everything. First and foremost, I am an entrepreneur. I am a venture capitalist. I am an influencer. I post on Instagram. I am a boxer. I am the CEO, the founder of Most Valuable Promotions.

I am all of these things. I am a Jesus person. The list goes on, but they just want to say, ‘Oh, YouTuber, YouTuber.’ I know he was trying to be politically correct, but it sounded like an insult.

Like, I’m not just some YouTuber. Oh no. I don’t take it as an insult because YouTubers make more money than boxers. So, hell no, I don't take it as an insult. I just think people are dimwitted, as the British would say. Well, yeah, it is what it is. But YouTubers run the world. Look at Speed. Look at MrBeast.

Ask all these, you know, parents and old people here who their kids want to meet. It’s damn YouTubers. We are the new A-list modern celebrities,” said Jake.

Paul previously promised that he would defeat Joshua by stoppage.
