Inoue Responds on Whether He Considers Himself the P4P Leader

Immediately following his bout against David Picasso, the undisputed super bantamweight world champion Naoya Inoue addressed a question regarding his position in the pound-for-pound (P4P) rankings.

– Oleksandr Usyk was in the arena today for your fight. Now, looking at him, can you say that you surpass him in the ranking of the best boxers regardless of weight class?

– Mr. Usyk came to watch my fight tonight. But honestly, I’m not very satisfied with my performance. I should have performed much better. Therefore, I won’t say anything, and next time I will be much better, – Inoue said.

Inoue (32-0, 27 KOs) defeated Picasso by unanimous decision. This was Naoya's fourth victory in 2025.
