Official: Inoue and Nakatani to Fight on “Night of Samurai” Card

It has been officially announced that the “Night of Samurai” tournament will feature six bouts pitting Japanese fighters against opponents from other countries.

The main event will see undisputed Super Bantamweight champion Naoya Inoue (31-0, 27 KOs) face IBF mandatory challenger from Mexico Alan David Picasso (32-0-1, 17 KOs).

The undercard will include the following matchups:

– Junto Nakatani (31-0, 24 KOs) vs Sebastián Hernández Reyes (20-0, 18 KOs)

– Kenshiro Teraji (25-2, 16 KOs) vs Villiabald García (23-6, 13 KOs)

– Taiga Imaigo (9-0, 5 KOs) vs Armando Martinez (16-0, 15 KOs)

– Reito Tsutsumi (3-0, 2 KOs) vs Leobardo Quintana (11-1, 5 KOs)

– Hayato Tsutsumi (8-0, 5 KOs) vs James Dickens (36-5, 15 KOs)

Opponents for the Japanese fighters will come from Mexico (Picasso, Hernández, García, Quintana), Cuba (Martinez), and the United Kingdom (Dickens).

The event will take place on December 27 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. For Naoya Inoue, the fight against Picasso will be his fourth outing in 2025.
