EBU Champion Callum Simpson is in talks to face fellow British Super Middleweight contender Hamzah Sheeraz, according to the European Boxing Union.
“This is a top-level matchup between two undefeated champions, and the EBU is delighted with the world-class quality of this championship bout,” said EBU President Peter Stucki in a comment to The Ring.
Previously, Simpson (18-0, 13 KOs) was expected to face Frenchman Kevin Lele Sadjo, who later received an offer to fight Diego Pacheco instead.
This bout could mark Sheeraz’s (22-0-1, 18 KOs) second appearance at Super Middleweight — he made his debut in the division in summer 2025, stopping Edgar Berlanga in the fifth round.
