Warren on Usyk: “There’s No Talk of Stripping Him of His Title”

Queensberry Promotions head Frank Warren discussed who Oleksandr Usyk might face in his next fight.

“I don’t know what Oleksandr will decide. Whatever he chooses — that’s his call. He’s done everything that’s been asked of him and deserves huge respect. And we all have that for him.

There’s no talk about stripping him of his title or anything like that, but mandatory defenses have to happen — and obviously, the first one is scheduled for October 25.

Both Joe Parker and Fabio Wardley want to fight for a world title. And Usyk is the man to beat, because he’s the one holding all the belts right now,” Warren said.
