Crawford to the WBC: “You can take your f**ing belt”

Three-time undisputed champion Terence Crawford commented on the decision to strip him of the WBC title at Super Middleweight.

“WBC, y’all got a green belt that don’t mean nothing. The real belt is The Ring belt — it’s free. What are you even talking about?

You wanted me to pay you more than the other sanctioning bodies because you feel like you’re better than everybody else.

How could you even come up with the idea that I should apologize to you?

You can take your f**ing belt,” said Crawford.

After it was announced that Crawford was no longer their champion, WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman said the Council only wanted a fee of 0.06% of Terence’s total purse.

Sulaiman also noted that Crawford did not pay the fee and did not even apologize.
