Terence Crawford: “Canelo Is a Great Champion”

Newly crowned undisputed Super Middleweight champion Terence Crawford shared his thoughts after defeating Saul Alvarez.

“Canelo is a great champion. He’s a strong opponent. I have nothing but respect for Canelo. I’m a big fan of his, and tonight he fought like a true champion,” said Crawford.

On the night of September 14, Terence Crawford (42-0, 31 KOs) defeated Canelo Alvarez (63-3-2, 39 KOs) by unanimous decision to become the first fighter in the four-belt era to hold undisputed championships in three different weight classes.
