David Benavídez vs. Anthony Yarde Officially Set

Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority chairman Turki Alalsheikh has announced a clash between WBC Light Heavyweight champion David Benavídez (30-0, 24 KO) and Britain’s hard-hitting challenger Anthony Yarde (27-3, 24 KO).

The showdown will land on a Riyadh Season card in November 2025—exact date to be confirmed.

Benavídez claimed the interim WBC strap by turning back David Morrell, then inherited full champion status when the previous title-holder stepped aside. Yarde, meanwhile, notched a points win earlier in 2025 to position himself for another crack at the summit.
