Former heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua is conscious and in contact with his family following a car accident in Nigeria, BBC reports, citing the government of Ogun State.
“Anthony Joshua and another passenger were immediately transported to a specialist medical facility in Lagos.
After comprehensive clinical examinations, doctors confirmed that both patients are in stable condition and do not require any emergency medical intervention.
A full medical team has been assembled and will continue to closely monitor their condition,” the statement said.
