The Welterweight contest is being planned for January in Palm Springs, California, USA, though the exact date and further details have not yet been confirmed.

Alexis Rocha (25-2-1, 16 KOs) and Raul Curiel (16-0-1, 14 KOs) first met in December 2024, with their fight ending in a majority draw.

Since then, Rocha has been recovering from injury and returned to training in June, while Curiel scored a fourth-round knockout over Victor Rodriguez that same month.
