Zuffa Boxing Will Not Recognize Other Boxing Organizations

UFC and TKO Boxing Promotions president Dana White announced that in his new league, Zuffa Boxing, only the Zuffa title and The Ring belt will be recognized.

White stressed that he will not acknowledge championships from the four major sanctioning bodies — WBA, WBC, WBO, and IBF.

“Yes, there will be a Zuffa belt, and there will be The Ring belt. And yes, I will not recognize any other boxing organization. Everything will be based on the UFC model.

I hear a lot of people saying, ‘This will never work.’ Well, we’ll find out over the next few years,” said White.

This announcement follows White’s reveal of a partnership with Paramount+, which will serve as the exclusive broadcaster for Zuffa Boxing in the U.S., Canada, and Latin America.

The agreement comes into effect in January 2026 with 12 events scheduled, and an expanded calendar planned for subsequent years.
