Former WBC Heavyweight world champion Deontay Wilder discussed whether he is ready to face the reigning WBO champion Fabio Wardley. Previously, the Briton stated his readiness to meet Deontay.

Wardley is also a huge chance. A lot of things are happening right now, and I don’t want to tell secrets about what is going on. But there are big opportunities for me, and I just thank God. I am just very grateful to Him for giving me the opportunity and blessing me.

Psychologically, I was broken. You understand? Physically I was still here, but mentally I just couldn't handle so many things because of distractions, because of outside drama, because of family matters, because of various things. And this is a dangerous business where you need to stay focused.

When you are in boxing, you have to breathe, eat, and sleep it. You can’t focus on everything else, otherwise you will get killed,” said Wilder.

Deontay's next opponent could be Oleksandr Usyk. According to the American, certain negotiations regarding the fight are already underway.
