WBC Orders Itauma vs Okolie; Winner to Earn a Shot at Usyk

The WBC has ordered a bout between Heavyweights Moses Itauma and Lawrence Okolie at its 63rd Congress. It will be an eliminator for contender status for the title held by undisputed champion Oleksandr Usyk.
Alongside Usyk, the WBC’s Heavyweight champion is Agit Kabayel, who holds interim status.
Itauma (13-0, 11 KOs) will fight Jermaine Franklin in late January 2026. Okolie has a bout scheduled in Nigeria, but his opponent has not yet been confirmed.
