The head of Queensberry Promotions, Frank Warren, discussed which organization might mandate the next title defense for Oleksandr Usyk.

“We have mandatory challengers and we are pushing for that.

Usyk has exercised his right to a voluntary defense. Credit to him. He has earned that right. But once that is done, those mandatory challengers will be in line.

I just want to see who will be the mandatory challenger to fight Usyk if he beats Wilder. Derek Chisora is one of them. Lawrence Okolie is also one of them. Moses [Itauma] is number one with the WBA. I’m not sure which of them will be next, but they have to be considered. They will have to be considered.

He hasn't had a mandatory defense recently. He fought Tyson twice. So, he hasn't had a mandatory defense of his belts.

It’s not my business. The governing bodies have to decide who will be first, because they have already agreed on the rotation. I can't remember who is next. It was the IBF, then the WBO. So, I think the WBA will be next. But I’m not sure,” Warren said.

Deontay Wilder may become Oleksandr Usyk's next opponent. This would be a voluntary defense of the WBC belt.
