Warren on Itauma vs. Franklin: “Jermaine Is Coming to Win”

Frank Warren, head of Queensberry Promotions and promoter of 20-year-old British Heavyweight prospect Moses Itauma, has shared his thoughts ahead of the upcoming fight against Jermaine Franklin.

– Will we finally see Moses go more rounds?

– I don’t know. I hate talking about that. I just want to see him beat the guys in front of him. That’s the point. He’s an exciting fighter and he gets the job done. Eventually, there will be an opponent who pushes him the full distance — that happens to everyone.

When that happens, he’ll have to switch to Plan B, and I’m sure he has one. Will Jermaine Franklin be that opponent? That’s exactly why he’s coming. Not just to go the full 10 rounds — but to win. I think we’re in for a very good fight,”Warren said.
