Frank Warren, promoter of British heavyweight Tyson Fury, shared his thoughts on a third clash with undisputed champion Oleksandr Usyk:
“We’ll see. But Tyson likes the idea—he wants that fight, and the first two bouts were razor‑close. Both of them. Who knows? In this business anything is possible.
The fight can be made if Usyk and Fury truly want it. I’ve no objection. In fact, it was even mentioned during the Wembley interviews on Saturday, and the crowd applauded loudly—so the interest is there.
We’d love to make it happen—that’s all I can say at this stage. Tyson won’t box before early next year, probably April, but we’ll have to talk. Right now I’m sure the last thing on Oleksandr’s mind is another fight. He’s come through a grueling camp, got the win, and is spending time with his family, enjoying the fruits of his labor.”
In 2024 Tyson Fury (34‑2‑1, 24 KOs) twice lost to Oleksandr Usyk (24‑0, 15 KOs) before announcing his retirement, though he has since called Usyk out for a third bout at Wembley on 18 April 2026.
On 19 July Usyk became a three‑time undisputed champion by stopping Daniel Dubois in round five. Detailed statistics of that fight are available via the link.
