Exactly one year ago, on December 21, 2024, the rematch took place between Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk and Britain’s Tyson Fury. On the line were the WBA, WBC, WBO and IBO heavyweight world titles held by Usyk.
The fight went the full distance and ended with a unanimous decision victory for Usyk. The judges’ scorecards read 116–112 three times in favor of the Ukrainian.
