Tyson Fury’s Roadmap: Warren Names Tentative Dates for Two Fights in 2026

Queensberry Promotions head Frank Warren has outlined the performance schedule for former world champion Tyson Fury. The Briton is aiming to hold two bouts during 2026; however, the organization of a fight with Anthony Joshua is currently in question due to tragic circumstances.

Former unified heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has a clear plan for his return to the ring in 2026. Queensberry promotional company head Frank Warren reported that the "Gypsy King" plans to hold two bouts: the first in the spring, and the second in the summer.

According to the promoter, the financial component and agreements with organizers from Saudi Arabia remain key factors in realizing these plans.

“There were talks about him wanting to fight in April. After that — in the summer. That is his roadmap. With Tyson, it’s very simple: it all depends on the money. The Saudis have indicated the fights they want to put on. They talked about the bout with AJ.

Unfortunately, a horrific tragedy occurred involving Joshua, where he lost two of his comrades and guys who were part of his training team. This will hit him very hard psychologically, and I don’t know if he will fight or if he will be ready for a bout. No one should pressure him in any case. Whatever he decides to do, he will make the choice at the appropriate time,” Warren noted.

It is worth recalling that Tyson Fury (34-2-1, 24 KOs) has not entered the ring since 2024. He previously made public statements regarding his intention to resume active performances specifically in 2026.
