Turki Alalshikh Working on Joshua–Fury Fight

The Chairman of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority Turki Alalshikh says he is actively putting together a clash between former world champions Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury for 2026.

“The Anthony Joshua–Tyson Fury fight is for next year. We’re trying to make it happen and we’re already thinking about it.

But first each of them needs a tune-up bout. Why? Because they’re both coming off losses. That’s what it takes to promote the event the right way,” Turki told The Boxing Voice.

Anthony Joshua (28-4, 25 KOs) last boxed in September, when he was knocked out in the fifth round by Daniel Dubois. The Briton underwent elbow surgery in May and hopes to return in November or December.

In 2024 Tyson Fury (34-2-1, 24 KOs) lost twice to Oleksandr Usyk and then announced his retirement.
