Timothy Bradley on Whether Itauma Is Ready for Usyk

Former champion and current ESPN analyst Timothy Bradley shared his view on a potential clash between British prospect Moses Itauma and Undisputed Heavyweight Champion Oleksandr Usyk.

“Itauma did very well and looked spectacular — a true 20-year-old phenomenon. A great performance, but this kid is not ready for Usyk yet. He hasn’t done anything to convince me.

He hasn’t even gone past the sixth round. And what happens when you take him beyond that point? That’s exactly what Usyk will do if he fights him — drag him past six rounds and then drown him,” Bradley said.

On July 19, Oleksandr Usyk (24-0, 15 KOs) stopped Daniel Dubois in the fifth round to once again become the undisputed champion of the world.
