WBO Junior Welterweight champion Teofimo Lopez reacted to the news that WBC Lightweight titleholder Shakur Stevenson is preparing to face him alongside three-time undisputed champion Terence Crawford.
“I’m the one who’s always ‘against all odds.’ I’ve been that way since 2015, when I won the U.S. Olympic Trials but didn’t get a spot on the Olympic team for the 2015 Olympics… Even Richard Commey — when I won my first world title in 2019 at 22 years old as the challenger — the odds were against me.
