Teofimo–Shakur fight to take place at Madison Square Garden

The fight between WBO junior welterweight champion Teofimo Lopez and WBC lightweight titleholder Shakur Stevenson will take place at Madison Square Garden.

The bout will headline the boxing event The Ring VI on January 31, 2026, in New York, USA. On the line will be Lopez’s WBO and The Ring titles at 140 lbs.

Teofimo Lopez (22-1, 13 KOs) last fought in May, defeating Arnold Barboza by unanimous decision.

In July, Shakur Stevenson (24-0, 11 KOs) outboxed William Zepeda over twelve rounds, winning by unanimous decision.
