WBC Lightweight champion Shakur Stevenson shared when he first thought Terence Crawford had what it takes to defeat Saul Alvarez.

«I’m not going to lie — I was talking about this back when he fought Shawn Porter. If you look, there are interviews where I said: right after the Porter fight, I thought Crawford would beat Canelo. So that idea was already there. I said it even before Bud himself started talking about it. I knew that in that weight class Terence Crawford was the best. With Canelo’s style, with the way he boxes, I felt that Terence Crawford was the only one who could beat him», Stevenson said.
