Ryan Garcia and Mario Barrios Close to Finalizing Fight Deal

27-year-old Ryan Garcia and 30-year-old WBC welterweight champion Mario Barrios are close to signing an agreement for their next fight, The Ring reports.

Promoters Golden Boy Promotions and PBC are already exchanging contracts, and the fight is expected to take place in the first quarter of 2026.

Ryan Garcia (24-2, 20 KO) last stepped into the ring in May, when he dropped a unanimous decision to Rolando Romero.

In July, Mario Barrios (29-2-2, 18 KO) fought Manny Pacquiao to a draw.
