Robert Garcia gives his prediction for Isaac Cruz vs Lamont Roach

American trainer Robert Garcia has shared his prediction for the upcoming clash between WBA super featherweight champion Lamont Roach and WBC interim super lightweight titleholder Isaac Cruz.

“I’m going with Isaac Cruz, even despite our past disagreements. In a fight against Roach, I’ll still bet on him.

Roach looked great against Tank (Gervonta Davis), which is probably why Tank didn’t want to face him again — but that was a one-off performance. It will be difficult for him to replicate that level.

I believe Cruz will be too strong for him. It’s going to be an exciting, explosive fight — I think it will turn out to be a really great one,” said Garcia.

The fight between Lamont Roach (25-1-2, 10 KOs) and Isaac Cruz (28-3-1, 18 KOs) will take place on December 6 in San Antonio, USA.
