Promoter: “Eubank Will Likely Return to Super Middleweight”

British promoter Ben Shalom spoke about when his client Chris Eubank Jr. might return to the ring, and also shared information regarding which weight class Chris might continue to box in.

“Actually I am going to see him this week. He had to do a lot from a medical point of view to really try to clean out the system and get rid of what he was dealing with. So, as soon as that is done, he will return, probably at 168 pounds.

But there was an underlying issue that he needed to get rid of. I think we all knew that, but, hopefully, we look forward to his return in the middle of the year,” said Shalom.

In 2025, Eubank entered the ring twice — first he won, and then lost to Conor Benn. Both confrontations took place in the Middleweight division and ended in judges' decisions.

After the rematch, Benn stated that he feels this is the final part of the saga between the Eubanks and Benns. Their fathers also fought twice: first Chris Sr. defeated Nigel, and the rematch ended in a draw.
