Paul – Perry Undercard: Chavez Return and Serrano Knockout

On the night of July 21, a tournament took place in Tampa, Florida, USA. In the main event, blogger and boxer Jake Paul (10-1, 7 KOs) knocked out former UFC fighter Mike Perry (0-2).

The undercard featured the return of Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., and Amanda Serrano faced off against a top knockout artist.

Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (54-6-1, 34 KOs) UD 6 Uriah Hall (1-1, 0 KOs)

The fight went the full 6-round distance, with Chavez winning by unanimous decision – UD 6. The judges' scores were 58-56 and 59-55 twice.

This was Chavez's first fight since December 2021, when he defeated David Zegarra (36-12-1, 23 KOs) by unanimous decision. For Hall, this was only his second professional boxing match after winning by unanimous decision against Le'Veon Bell (2-1, 0 KOs).

Amanda Serrano (47-2-1, 31 KOs) TKO 2 Stevie Morgan (14-2, 13 KOs)

Puerto Rican champion Amanda Serrano, holding the WBA, WBO, IBF, and IBO titles in the featherweight division (up to 57.2 kg), made short work of her American opponent, winning by technical knockout in the 2nd round – TKO 2.

According to post-fight statistics, Amanda landed more power punches than Morgan threw overall. Stevie landed only 55 punches, while Serrano landed 58 power punches.

This marks Serrano's fifth consecutive win since her loss to undisputed super lightweight champion (up to 63.5 kg) Katie Taylor (23-1, 6 KOs), with whom Amanda has a rematch scheduled for November 15. This is also her first stoppage win since March 2021, when she defeated Daniela Bermudez (32-4-3, 12 KOs) from Argentina.
