Junto Nakatani to Debut at Super Bantamweight on December 27

WBC and IBF Bantamweight champion Junto Nakatani will vacate his titles and make his debut at Super Bantamweight.

The 27-year-old Japanese star will face 24-year-old Mexican Sebastian Hernandez Reyes.

The bout will take place on December 27 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as part of the undercard for the showdown between Naoya Inoue and David Picasso.

In June, Junto Nakatani (31-0, 24 KOs) defeated Ryosuke Nishida after Nishida’s corner stopped the fight at the end of the sixth round.

Sebastian Hernandez (20-0, 18 KOs) scored a unanimous decision win over Azat Hovhannisyan in May, following a streak of 17 consecutive knockout victories.
