Former WBO lightweight champion Keyshawn Davis and current WBC titleholder in the same division Shakur Stevenson are training out of the same gym as they prepare for their respective bouts.
Keyshawn and Shakur will both appear on the same show on 31 January in New York, USA, against Jamaine Ortiz and Teofimo Lopez respectively.
Keyshawn Davis (13-0, 9 KOs) last fought in February, when he knocked out Denys Berinchyk in the fourth round to win the WBO lightweight world title. In June Davis was due to make his first defence against Edwin De Los Santos, but failed to make weight, which led to the bout being cancelled and the American being stripped of the belt.
In July Shakur Stevenson (24-0, 11 KOs) defeated William Zepeda by unanimous decision.
