Junto Nakatani Tops WBA Junior Featherweight Rankings

The World Boxing Association (WBA) has released its updated Junior Featherweight (55.3 kg) rankings.

At No. 1 is Junto Nakatani (31-0, 24 KOs), the reigning WBC and IBF Bantamweight Champion, despite not having fought in the division.

The WBA world title is held by undisputed champion Naoya Inoue (30-0, 27 KOs), while the interim belt belongs to Murodjon Akhmadaliev (14-1, 11 KOs). Inoue and Akhmadaliev are scheduled to meet on September 14 at IG Arena in Nagoya, Japan.
