Joseph Parker Reveals Whom He Will Support in the Usyk-Fury 2 Fight

WBO Interim heavyweight champion Joseph Parker (35-3, 23 KOs) shared whom he plans to support in the rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury, scheduled for December 21 in Saudi Arabia.

– I think Tyson is more focused before this fight. When he had the first fight with Usyk and went to his hotel room, there were a lot of people around him. Now, it’s just his team. I feel he’s fully tuned in to this bout.

Usyk is very elusive and talented, with excellent footwork. But in my opinion, Tyson’s mentality is completely different this time. And that may play a key role.

– Many people are talking about Fury’s weight. Would you like to see him heavier than in the first fight? Maybe it’ll help him stand his ground better, be more aggressive?

– I’d like to see him hold his ground and fight. Usyk is a great master, but if anyone can beat him, it’s Fury. And I’m here to support Tyson, to cheer for him, and celebrate after the fight.

– How will he win?

– I think it will be another tough battle. Both will have their chances, but I feel Tyson will win on points. And this will be a much better performance than in the first fight, Parker said.
