Heavyweight boxer Jake Paul commented on potential amendments to the Muhammad Ali Act being promoted by UFC and TKO Boxing head Dana White.
“They want to get rid of the Muhammad Ali Act because they claim they want to give boxing a better chance so the best fight the best…
So why are all the fans mad about these new UFC fights they announced?
And, for sure, Harrison–Nunes should be its own separate main event,” said Paul.
Dana White is the main driver behind the proposed changes to the Ali Act. Under the suggested amendments, individual promotions would receive more authority in boxing — something that previously did not exist. White insists these are not changes but additions to the current law that expand boxers’ rights.
Critics of Dana’s initiative are confident it will negatively affect athletes’ rights.
