Undisputed Super Bantamweight world champion Naoya Inoue spoke about the possibility of a fight with American champion Jesse "Bam" Rodriguez, who currently holds belts in the Junior Bantamweight division.
“A fan? No, I’m not a fan.
But yes, he is interesting to watch. A fight against him? If we were in the same weight category and the timing was right.
I like watching his fights,” Inoue said.
Inoue's (31-0, 27 KOs) next fight will take place on December 27 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, against Alan Picasso. In his previous bout, Jesse Rodriguez (23-0, 16 KOs) knocked out Fernando Martinez in the 10th round, extending his streak of stoppage victories to five in a row.
