On September 14 in Nagoya, Japan, Japan’s undisputed champion Naoya Inoue defended his titles against Murodjon Akhmadaliev, securing a decision victory.

Reports indicate this bout became the most popular fight of Inoue’s career outside of Japan. In the United States and United Kingdom, more than 13 million viewers tuned in.

Notably, Top Rank streamed the fight for free on its Facebook account for audiences in the U.S., U.K., and several other countries.
