Eddie Hearn on Eubank–Benn Rematch: “We Expect Another Outstanding Fight”

Eddie Hearn, head of Matchroom Boxing and promoter of British contender Conor Benn, shared his expectations for the rematch against IBO middleweight champion Chris Eubank Jr.

“I think it’s going to be a great fight. Both guys are in incredible shape. I believe Conor Benn will be much better this time. Last time he needed to raise his level a little to win. If he raises it significantly, he wins. It will all depend on his performance.

It won’t be easy for either of them. We’re expecting another outstanding battle. My prediction: a points win for Benn or a late stoppage,” said Hearn.

The rematch between Chris Eubank Jr. (35-3, 25 KOs) and Conor Benn (23-1, 14 KOs) takes place on November 15 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.

Their first fight, held in April, ended with a unanimous decision victory for Eubank — all three cards reading 116–112.
