American Welterweight boxer Ryan Garcia (24-2, 20 KO) says he’d like a second meeting with Devin Haney (32-0, 15 KO) on the lawn at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
“I wouldn’t mind fighting Haney at the White House,” Garcia posted.
Haney shot back, reminding his old rival of the failed test that voided their first result:
“Then don’t forget to pass your drug test,” Haney replied.
Earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump floated the idea of staging a championship mixed-martial-arts bout on White House grounds.
Background: In April 2024 Garcia out-pointed Haney on the cards, but the win was later wiped from the record when Garcia tested positive for a banned substance. The fight was ruled a no-contest and Garcia received a one-year suspension.
