ESPN Updated Pound-for-Pound Rankings: Benavidez Jumps Ahead of Shakur, Canelo Drops Out of the Top 10

ESPN has released an updated ranking of the world’s best pound-for-pound boxers.

As in the previous edition, the top three spots are held by Terence Crawford (42-0, 31 KOs), Oleksandr Usyk (24-0, 15 KOs) and Naoya Inoue (31-0, 27 KOs), respectively.

WBA World and WBC Light Heavyweight titleholder David Benavidez (31-0, 25 KOs) moved up to seventh, pushing WBC Lightweight champion Shakur Stevenson (24-0, 11 KOs) down.

Former undisputed Super Middleweight champion Saul Alvarez (63-3-2, 39 KOs), who lost to Crawford in September, dropped out of the top 10. His place was taken by WBO Welterweight titleholder Devin Haney (33-0, 15 KOs).
