Insider: Espinoza’s Next Opponent Will Be Khegai

According to The Ring, WBO featherweight champion Rafael Espinoza will face Ukrainian Arnold Khegai on November 15 in Mexico.

Previously, the main option for Espinoza had been Luis Alberto Lopez – as reported by BoxingScene. That same outlet has now also confirmed negotiations between Espinoza and Khegai.

Khegai (23-2-1, 14 KOs) last fought on September 12, defeating Venezuelan Liborio Solis by decision in an eight-round contest.

Espinoza (27-0, 23 KOs) most recently stepped into the ring against Edward Vazquez, whom he stopped in the seventh round.
