Jaron Ennis: “I Want to Make a Statement”

American boxer Jaron Ennis shared his expectations ahead of his debut in the Super Welterweight division against Angola’s Wisma Lima.

“Yes, that fight is on the horizon. Our main goal right now is to take care of Lima and look good doing it. I want to make a big statement in the Super Welterweight division. Once I handle my business — it doesn’t matter who’s next.

For me, moving into a new weight class was the right timing. And that time has come. Now it’s time to show myself,” Ennis said.

The fight between Jaron Ennis (34-0, 30 KOs) and Wisma Lima (14-1, 10 KOs) will take place on October 11 at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, USA.
