The trainer of former IBF Heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois, Tony Sims, spoke about the desired opponent for his fighter.
“I would like to see his fight with Wardley. It is a great fight for British fans and for all fans, because they are both punchers. I think that it would be a fantastic fight.
With Dubois everything is very good. He has been working with me for about three-four months already and is just waiting for the date of the next fight. We are working on technique and similar things. We are just waiting for the date now, so that he can focus on a full camp,” said Sims.
Dubois (22-3, 21 KOs) has not entered the ring since the stoppage loss to Ukrainian champion Oleksandr Usyk. Wardley (20-0-1, 19 KOs) in the previous duel knocked out Joseph Parker, and later became the WBO champion after Oleksandr Usyk vacated the belt.
